Guru Sampada Prathishthana is a vision-driven Public Charitable and Religious Trust established with the sacred intent of reviving, preserving, and transmitting the timeless wisdom of Bharatiya Parampara. Rooted in reverence for tradition and guided by spiritual clarity, the Trust seeks to restore education to its original purpose—shaping complete human beings grounded in Dharma, discipline, and conscious living. Though still in its early phase, Guru Sampada Prathishthana has already taken a significant step forward by acquiring land for its upcoming Pāṭhaśāla, laying the foundation for this sacred journey.
In a world blending jnana (spiritual knowledge) and vijñana (scientific insight), praviṇcīka (worldly) and pārāmārtika (transcendental) realms, laukika (mundane) and alaukika (divine) experiences, the study of Vedas, Shastras, Sanskrit culture, literature, and history finds its pinnacle in those who embody true divinity. Such souls see God in everyone, radiating humility, kindness, gentleness, charity, and the true implementation of dharma. They embrace humanitarianism, offer kindness to all, accept praise and criticism with equanimity, stay far from politics and caste discrimination, and overflow with motherly love. They console the suffering and personify the qualities of a Guru as described in the scriptures.
It is exceedingly rare to find such individuals. Among these blessed luminaries shines our beloved Guru Param Pujya Shri S.L. Gururaj Ravaru, along with his virtuous consort Srimati Nagarathnamma—a godly couple devoted to the divine.
Born into a pious Vaishnava Brahmin family (followers of Sri Ramanujacharya's Vishishtadvaita philosophy), Gururajji's arrival was marked by trials. Before him, two children had passed away. His devoted mother, Shri Raghavendra, cared for him amidst poverty. She begged among masters, toiled daily on hard land, and faced life's hardships with unwavering faith. Through japa (chanting), anushtana (rituals), upavasa (fasting), and vratas (vows), she lived a dharmic life inspired by Raghavendra Swamiji. Following his divine instructions, she named her blessed child Gururaj.
From childhood, under his mother's influence, Gururajji imbibed beautiful stories from scriptures, Puranas, and Mahabharata. His love for reading books began in second grade, sparked by his father. Hearing God's name would move mother and child to tears—they shared an emotional bond that poured forth like rain.
In third grade, at just eight years old, he experienced his first divine vision. Even on the toughest days, his parents never scolded him harshly. Instead, his loving, tender mother nurtured him, making their home his first school. Today's parents have much to learn from this.
Education, practice, play, lessons, friendships, and thoughts of God shaped his early years seamlessly.
After completing PUC in science, Gururajji studied under Mahayogi Parampoojya Malladihalli Shri Swami—mastering Ashtanga Yoga, Adhyatma (spirituality), Dhynana (meditation), Indian scriptures, and Ayurveda (herbal sciences). He passed second-grade exams and received mantra diksha, accepting Swami as his first Guru.
Inspired by Swami Vivekananda, he delved into Ramakrishna Ashram books, Upanishads, and Vedanta. He earned a Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering, though financial woes and his mother's illness prevented completion.
God's will unfolded uniquely. Before entering industry, an unknown Brahmin gifted him Gurucharitra and instructed 48 days of rigorous parayana (recitation). On the 40th day, Shri Guru Dattatreya appeared in a dream in spiritual form, commanding him to the field.
Thereafter, many Yogis, Gurus, and Himalayan saints guided him directly and indirectly.
In 2000, seeking answers to human sorrows, life's ups and downs, and post-birth challenges, Gururajji turned to Indian astrology. Blessed by Bangalore's Shri Gunjur Ramachandra Shastri, Shri S.G. Cheluv Murthy, and Davangere's Gururaj Ujjayini Yavarmi, he mastered astrology, Vastu, and related shastras.
On January 2, 2004, he opened Guru Sanidhi in a small rented house, offering free consultations to a humble community. By 2012, he rented a larger space; in 2014, he owned a home for it. Without expecting reward, he has consoled thousands, all by God's grace.
Guruji remains a beacon—humble, divine, and eternally devoted.
